Biwater Wins Behavioural Safety Best Practice Award

The Allan Poole Award for Outstanding Achievement was won by Biwater at the Behavioural Safety and Leadership Conference recently held in Birmingham. The Award was presented by Ryder Marsh and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and was open to organisations from all industry sectors. It recognises companies that have demonstrated best practice in Behavioural Safety.
Health and safety professionals across the UK take part in a voting system to decide who should receive the Award. The joint winner with Biwater Treatment was G4S Justice Services (formerly Group 4) with companies of the likes of the Kier Group, Enterprise and Murphy also participating.
The Award raises awareness of behavioural safety, helps to improve the health and safety culture allows Biwater to benchmark health and safety performance and set an agenda for continuous improvement.
