H&S and Behavioural Training – Mind Safety
We constantly aim to improve our safety. A recent innovation within our H&S culture is ‘Mind Safety Training’ which addresses culture and habits within a job.
It focuses on the premise that repetition and practice forms habits and explores the states of minds associated with behaviour which can impact on Health and Safety. We have embraced this new innovation and are looking to champion it within the industry. The course has been taken by Severn Trent Managers, our Suppliers our senior managers and senior site staff.
Following the Mind Safety seminars there are a number of outputs to be implemented – one of these is the 10 second rule which encourages operatives to spend 10 seconds reviewing their work station and removing hazards prior to commencement of work.
