Managing Director John Abraham has worked in the water industry since 1988. John started his career as a civil  engineering site engineer with Biwater Treatment before quickly moving into site, project and programme management. He has considerable experience within the water industry and in particular of design and build water and wastewater projects. He drives strategic business planning and is dedicated to making the most of both Biwater Treatment's people and its pledge to Corporate Responsibility.

Commercial Director Kevin O'Reilly has worked at Biwater Treatment since 2002. Kevin began his career with Alfred McAlpine where he attained qualifications in Quantity Surveying. He has over ten years experience within the water industry with particular reference to commercial and procurement activities for frameworks and major projects. Kevin leads Biwater Treatment's restructuring of its commercial focus and expertise and his ambition is to oversee the optimisation of Biwater's Supply Chain relationship.

Development Director Tom Standring is a Chartered Structural Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree and a background with both consultants and contractors. Tom has been with Biwater since 1998 working as a project engineer, project manager, programme manager and proposals manager. His main areas of focus include solution development and business efficiency. His passion is to lead the company towards an even greater level of customer focus, including being more loud and proud about what we do and achieve. Beyond that Tom simply loves winning jobs with the best bidding team in the industry.

Regional Director Martin Beale joined Biwater Treatment in August 2008 as Operations Manager for Scotland.  Martin previously worked for Thames Water and more recently Veolia Water as Programme Manager and Area Delivery Manager in Scottish Water Solutions.  Martin has worked in the water industry since 1990 in both client and contractor roles.

Regional Director Rolfe Nuttall joined Biwater Treatment in November 2009. Rolfe has over 25 years experience of the construction industry and has worked in the water and waste water industry for the past 19 years. Rolfe started his career as a mechanical design engineer before quickly moving onto site, project and programme management. He has considerable experience of design and build schemes and in particular large scale odour treatment projects. Rolfe is passionate about health and safety and drives for continuos improvement.

Finance Director Ruth Dunphy joined the Biwater team in October 2008.  Ruth previously worked at Alfred McAlpine as Finance Director for their Water and Gas Infrastructure division. Prior to this she worked across a broad spectrum of industries including Manufacturing, Engineering and Travel & Tourism.  Ruth is a CIMA qualified accountant with nine years post qualification experience. She is working with the Finance team towards their vision of being an invaluable business partner, proactively delivering a best in class service through high quality, value adding financial support and control.
