In the event of a third dry winter the river abstraction resource at Marham WTWs is vulnerable. Failure of this resource could result in a 13Ml/d demand shortfall.

The objective of this work is to provide an alternative additional resource of 13Ml/d to feed the Marham Supply zone (mostly Wisbech). The result will be the provision of an additional 13Ml/d at Bexwell reservoir.
